Part of Lettie Jane's series from the Suttle Lodge Artist Residency, "A Whole Composed of Many."
This series explores the relationship between water, plants and human beings in joyful colors. The art embraces both loose ink puddles and tight lines mixed with looping, stylized plant drawings. Humans and sometimes rabbits curl and dance and turn themselves around exploring the ways our bodies move in nature and digest the world around us.
The title of this body of drawings refers to the fact that no matter how much we might seek solitude, the world is a living breathing body around us to interact with.
